Meet our Leadership Team
Canopius has been operating in the Asia Pacific region (APAC) for more than 15 years, writing risks from Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney and Melbourne. Our focus is a combination of Treaty Reinsurance, wholesale Direct and Facultative Property, and Casualty as well as SME business via coverholders and brokers.
Neil Robertson

Neil was appointed as Group CEO of Canopius in January 2022 having joined the business as Group Deputy CEO in in May 2021. Neil leads Canopius in setting and achieving its strategic ambitions, furthering its distinctive approach and delivering enhanced returns for our shareholders, all while creating a culture in which its employees can thrive.
Sam Harrison
Group chief underwriting officer
Sam is Group Chief Underwriting Officer for Canopius. He joined in October 2023 to lead and shape the company’s diverse portfolio across three regional business units. As a member of the Group Leadership Team, Sam is driving Canopius’s underwriting strategy, focusing on areas where the business has, or can build a clear competitive advantage.
Soon Keen Lee
Chief executive officer APAC
Soon Keen (SK) Lee is Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific & MENA at Canopius, responsible for leading the Business Unit across Singapore, Australia, and the wider MENA region. SK joined Canopius in 2024 and now spearheads the APAC Executive Committee, driving growth and strategic development across the region.
Andrew Ziolkowski
Country Head of Australia & Pacific and Head of Insurance, APAC
Andrew joined Canopius in 2025 and is responsible for leading the company’s strategy, operations, and insurance portfolio across the region. He brings more than 28 years of experience in insurance and financial services.
Charles Cooper
CHIEF EXECTUTIVE OFFICER, bERMUDA
Charles Cooper is Chief Executive Officer of Canopius Bermuda and Global Head of Reinsurance, responsible for leading the company’s reinsurance strategy across Bermuda, London, and APAC. At Canopius, he is focused on growing the global reinsurance portfolio and advancing the development of its Bermuda platform.
